Courtney & Dimitri's Belgian Wedding

When Courtney and Dimitri where looking around Belgium for the perfect spot for their international wedding the searched far and wide. But when they came to Martin's Chateau du Lac in Genval, a small town outside of Brussels, they knew they had the perfect spot!

Genval is like a perfect meeting of European architecture and style with a natural forest feel that reminded Courtney of Canada. Courtney comes from Canada and Dimitri is from Belgium. They both live together in Belgium now, but Courtney still wanted to have a few little slices of home on her wedding day! That is why Genval fit the bill as the perfect spot for their Belgian Wedding! It also didn't hurt that she had a fantastic group of friends and family who made the trek over from Canada to see her marry Dimitri! Not to mention some Canada mitts from Hudson's Bay!

Dimitri's family and friends showed the Canadians Belgian wedding traditions, Belgian hospitality and of course lots of Belgian beer!

The day was filled with sharing of traditions, smiles, laughs, hugs and deep emotions. All this was set on a beautiful castle-like hotel, on a lake in fall in Belgium! What more could a photographer ever want!

I have always loved to travel and it is a life goal of mine to see as much of this world as I can so I am so grateful to Courtney and Dimitri for giving me this opportunity! Here are some of my favourites from Courtney & Dimitri's International Wedding in Belgium!
