Calgary Wedding Photographer -  Calgary Restaurant Wedding Venues Alloy Restaurant

I love the emerging trend of restaurant wedding venues. While this idea has been around for a while with some venues there are a lot more couples opting to host their full wedding or wedding reception in a favourite restaurant.

And why not? You know they are going to have great food, they are already beautifully decorated and they are in great locations!

One restaurant that I discovered did wedding last year was Alloy. When I visited the venue before the wedding I had their I got instantly pumped to shoot there.

It is a beautiful space with a modern design and beautiful lighting accents everywhere.

It makes for a fantastic space to photograph! Plus there is a nice open dining room with lots of window light, a perfect dance floor and bar area and an especially cool table in the middle perfect for the head table or a cake or present table depending on how you decide to arrange the space.

Plus with a high end restaurant like Alloy it goes without saying that the food is phenomenal!

It's also in a great location just off MacLeod trail and close to many fantastic and diverse photography locations including the pristine natural setting of Stanley Park or the historic buildings of Ramsay and Inglewood or even the sleek urban feel of downtown.

Another bonus is that you can have your ceremony on site in their enclosed patio/ garden area at no extra cost!

I'm so excited I get to photograph here again this summer! I can't wait for July!
